Sampling

“A representative environmental sample” enables reliable estimations about properties of the part of environment from which sample was taken.

Taking such samples and field measurements from various environmental sites requires a good knowledge of sampling, but also measurement theory and error sources, as well as good familiarity with field operations in practice. A qualified sampler knows the general quality requirements set for this activity and has the knowledge and skills according to the system. This qualification can be verified with a sampling certificate, issued by the Finnish Environment Agency.

Feasib's samplers have certificates for water sampling and measurement and training for taking samples of soil and waste environments. We do sampling mainly in Central and Northern Ostrobothnia.
